Homeschool Hybrid Program:

Royal Legacy is happy to provide a safe, friendly environment for homeschooling families to educate their middle to high school students. With a home-like classroom environment, parents are empowered with the assurance that their student is getting the academic support navigating their individual curriculum. A learning coach is available to provide academic support and foster authentic peer relationships. Every Friday, students participate in service projects in the community. Our partnership with NEI Food Bank, Hartman Reserve Nature Center, Harmony Nursing Home and House of Hope provides meaningful opportunities for our Hybrid students to serve and acquire employability skills in the process.

Spanish Immersion

Royal Legacy is the premier and only full Spanish immersion program in the Cedar Valley, in which 100% of our students academic content is taught in the target language. Offered from kindergarten through sixth grade, our program is led by native-speaking educators through a partnership with the Iowa Department of Education. This approach offers students authentic language exposure while fostering cultural literacy. Currently, 23 students participate across K-6th grades, building fluency in Spanish to meet the needs of Cedar Valley’s diverse community.

Meet Our Spanish Teachers

Our Spanish teachers, Enrique González Molina & María Carriazo Patiñomade, made the incredible journey from Spain to join the Royal Legacy Christian Academy community, bringing with them not only their expertise in language immersion education but also their rich cultural heritage. With their two young daughters Sara & Alicia by their side, they embraced this transition, driven by a shared vision to inspire students through immersive, high-quality Spanish-language instruction.

Their lived experiences and deep cultural insights add an invaluable element to our Spanish immersion program, offering students a truly authentic connection to the Spanish language and culture. Through their teaching, they foster not only language proficiency but also global awareness, empathy, and cultural competence—core values that align with our vision of building future leaders equipped to thrive in a diverse world.
